Grad Research Asst Fellow

Mojolaoluwa Keshiro

Mojolaoluwa is a PhD student at the University of Alberta with the Mechanical Engineering Department. He specializes in advanced heat transfer and computational simulation across its many applications in Concentrated Solar Thermal, Thermal Energy Storage, renewable energy and sustainable practices. His research focuses on radiation-induced natural convection in Solar Thermal Storage designs and applications. He obtained his Masters in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado Denver and his Bachelors in mechanical engineering from the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He is a licensed project manager and has about 6 years of experience across Piping engineering, Project management and CSP Research. When he isn’t working, he is either at the gym, playing some chess, watching a movie or podcast, cooking or sleeping.

Grad Research Asst Fellow

Muhammad Taha Naveed

Taha is an undergraduate student at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad. He has also worked as a research intern at the Renewable Thermal Lab, University of Alberta, where he worked on the project titled “Thermal Management Systems for High-Temperature Thermal Energy Storage Applications,” under the Mitacs Graduate Research Assistance Award. His research includes the design of Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Heat Exchangers, and Two-Phase Flow Loops for High Heat Flux Applications.

Graduate Research Asst Fellow

Abdul Saboor

Abdul Saboor is an MSc student at the University of Alberta, specializing in renewable energy and thermal energy storage. With a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and Thermal Fluid Sciences, his research focuses on developing low-cost, high-temperature thermal energy storage systems for sustainable energy applications.

Graduate Research Asst Fellow

Izuchukwu Ogbuigbo

Izuchukwu Ogbuigbo is a Master of Engineering (MEng) student at the University of Alberta, currently working on a project that explores the use of nuclear energy to charge thermal energy storage systems. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Covenant University in Nigeria and has two years of experience in the automotive industry. In his free time, he enjoys graphic design, working out at the gym, and reading new books.
